Capable logistics ensure that both large and small orders reach customers throughout Europe within between 24 and 72 hours, depending on the distance.

The central warehouse and logistics centres for car, offroad and transporter tyres in Speyer and for aluminium wheels in Karlsruhe are the core of the service concept. More than 1.3 million tyres and 300,000 light metal wheels are kept in stock.

Specialists set up individual wheel-tyre combinations of up to 26 inches in the preparation of mounted wheels that was extended in 2012 and includes certified run-flat tyres. Short delivery times also during the season made for strong growth in this business sector in recent years. The range comprises more than 35 brands of tyres in all product and price classes for cars, 4x4s, SUVs, light trucks, transporters, trucks, motorcycles, agricultural and earthmoving machinery and industrial vehicles. It also includes numerous exclusive brands for which Interpneu has the sole sales license. The wholesaler really stands out with light metal wheels with a selection of models from more than 20 well-known manufacturer and tuner brands.

The selection shows at a glance which tyres and wheels can be combined with one another and supplied. Original assessments for downloading round out the consulting services that are offered.

The EU energy label for tyres

The new EU tyre label helps consumers to decide in favour of a higher fuel efficiency class for their tyres. This can contribute to large reductions in running costs and emissions. Enhanced wet grip means greater road safety, and details of external rolling noise contributes to a reduction in traffic noise levels. 

The actual fuel savings and road safety depend heavily on the behaviour of drivers, and in particular on the following:

  • Eco-driving can significantly reduce fuel consumption
  • Tyre pressure needs to be regularly checked to optimise fuel efficiency and wet grip.
  • Stopping distances must always be respected.

Fuel efficiency class

Less rolling noise saves fuel and cuts CO2. This property is assigned to classes A to E.

Wet grip class

Wet grip is assigned to classes A to E. Wet grip is crucial to safe driving. For instance, the difference between class A and class E braking distances is 18 m.

External rolling noise class

The label presents the volume in dB and the class A (quieter), B, or C (louder). The noise emitted by tyres affects the total noise levels emitted by the vehicle.

Snow grip

The snowflake symbol confirms that the snow tested tyre keeps within the 3PMSF limits (type approval).
